Magnetic Spindle Bowl - Tulip
I turned this little spindle bowl in a shape that reminded me of a bloom…so I drew petals on it and voilà!
It’s made for spinners by a spinner, and I hope I did it well!
The middle of the bowl has a tiny dip to hold the tip of your spindles. I found that this helps stabilise the spindles in my collection that don’t want to turn so true.
The rim is low. I like sometimes to spin supported with turkish spindles, and a deep cup gets in the way. In general, I don’t like deep spindle bowls.
Lastly…I attached a magnet to the bottom of the bowl, with some tested super strong glue. I am sending you the bowl with two magnets. You can slip one under your pants or bottom of your shirt, and have the bowl secured, ready to spin. No more squiggling around, and you are ready to spin in a pinch!
The magnet is thin, so this bowl will also work if you prefer to use your bowl pillow.
