The gifts of the Dark Moon

All of these pieces have been created across the New Moon.

It has been an odd week in my little world. Everything in my relationships seemed a bit off - no big arguments, but a kind of nervousness, misunderstandings, things that left me in an odd spot.
.
When I feel on shaky ground, I usually go for fusing silver.
It teaches me a lesson about what we can't fully control, and to welcome it.
Because I will go to the bench with an idea, and the unpredictable metal will have a mind of its own, most of the time.
It's so frustrating at first, until I surrender.
When I surrender, it flows.

These rings, earrings and necklace all carry the same message...

I am not responsible for everyone else's moods. I am not to feel guilty for every shift in their moods.
(I am not responsible of my mother's depression, or her unwillingness to seek help).
I am allowed to have my raw, rough edges.
I am allowed to not always be nice and bend backwards just to make everyone else happy.
I don't need to be comfortable for everyone else.
(I am allowed to be angry)

I have the right to my imperfections and mistakes.
I have the right and duty to BLOOM from them and become the best version of myself I can dream of being.
